Meet The Maker - Rina Clarke from Buck Naked Soap Company

Today's feature on Meet The Maker is Rina Clarke from Buck Naked Soap Company. This amazing woman launched her own business and introduced a full line of all-natural, vegan, handcrafted skin care products. Her Ontario-based company is set on using chemical-free, using only pure, natural ingredients. They follow one simple rule: "if you can't (or shouldn’t) eat it, we won't use it."

What inspired you to start your own business?

Buck Naked was born out of necessity. When my Elias, developed skin irritations from traditional baby products, I realized we needed a truly natural alternative. As a result, I researched natural soap making and after a few months of research, we created our first bar, the Chamomile & Calendula Soap. After using on ourselves, we started using it on Elias and it really started to soothe his skin.

What is your biggest inspiration?
Our biggest inspirations are our clients. When we get feedback from clients about how much they love our products and how they have helped soothe their skin, it pushes us to create new lines and offer new variations. We are committed to crafting 100% natural, vegan and sustainable products that our clients love.
What are some of the challenges you face as an entrepreneur?
Some of the challenges we face are often growth related. We are so excited to be growing daily and bringing on new clients to share Buck Naked with. Something this growth can be a struggle - one I welcome!
What advice would you give to others looking to become makers or creators?
Do your research and start with the end in mind.
