HOME Gives Back - Moosehide Pins

Last weekend we had the pleasure of welcoming Paul, one of the founders of the Moose Hide Campaign to our shop!
We’ve been giving out these moose hide pins with all of our My HOME Apparel orders for over a year now, so of course we recognized the one Paul had on and asked him about the connection with his t-shirt - turns out his whole family was in town for the N.A.I.G. as well as a family reunion, and everyone told him he had to come check out our shop - without even knowing we were a moose hide ally!
About the Moose Hide Campaign
Paul and his daughter Raven started this initiative over 10 years ago in B.C., and have now handed out over 4 million pins. Wearing the pin signifies your commitment to honour, respect, and protect the women and children in your life and speak out against gender-based and domestic violence.

We’re proud to help spread this important message from the East Coast and continue the conversation surrounding #MMIWG and all the actions that need to be taken to protect vulnerable Indigenous women in our country by handing out these pins and their information cards with all our HOME orders.
Our HOME team staff all wear their pins proudly as a commitment to take action in honour of women and children everywhere, and a symbol of honouring Indigenous medicine and belonging.
