Home on Native Land Kids' T-shirt
Canada lies on the ancestral lands of the Indigenous people of Turtle Island. We acknowledge that the place we call HOME - Mi'kma'ki - is the ancestral, current, and unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq.
This design, created in collaboration with Annie Martin (Epekw’itk / P.E.I.), reflects this important truth. Inspired by traditional Mi’kmaq quillwork and patterns, reading HOME on Native Land, we hope this shirt will continue important discussions on Truth and Reconciliation here at HOME.
For this project 5% of our profits will be donated to initiatives working towards ending indigenous homelessness in Canada. Together, we can help give all Canadians a HOME.
